When a friend from university first recommended Instagram to me back in 2012, I was very fascinated by the concept and wanted to try it myself. It then all happened pretty quickly, and the social media hobby turned into my job - and somewhat my “calling”.
If I had to describe myself in a few words I would definitely say that I am fashion addicted, very social and open minded and most importantly: an incredibly positive person. There is rarely a day where you see any negative content on my pages, as that just doesn’t fit to my personality at all.
Absolutely not! Back when I started, ‘Blogger’ and ‘Influencer’ weren’t known terms. It was a hobby I pursued because of my passion for fashion, and it then grew from my constant posting.
I always question myself and make (mostly) very thought-through decisions; plus, I (hopefully) have a good sense for outfit combinations that are on trend.
I always loved fashion. My first idea was actually having my own concept store after finishing my business administration degree, but Instagram got in the way ;-)
“Oversized”, minimalist, Scandinavian, always given the special touch with accessories and shoes.
Definitely! Every trip, every event and even my friends and acquaintances influence my style.
Traveling, Pinterest, Instagram, lifestyle magazines and my surroundings. It’s really a mix of a number of things, moods, and people, that is inspiring to me.
Not one specific person, no. Rather influences by different designers and brands, innovation in fashion, new trends and interpretations of what’s already known.
I definitely see hats coming back, as well as more of some 90’s vibes coming back. We have seen this development in fashion already, but it is coming back even stronger this season. With shoes I don’t think I could decide for a single favourite model either - I like them all too much. :-)
I love Vintage designer pieces - this can be bags, shoes, robes, blouses, coats - anything that is very unique and special and embodies the brand’s original style and design.
I think this winter will be focused more around boots again. We’ve seen the trend already last year, but the practicability and style boots have is unbeatable. There are a number of styles I own and love already, but I am sure that some big names will present new models that everyone is going to fall in love with soon.
I love colourful sneakers - they are comfortable, stylish, and create a break in style if you wear them with dresses or skirts. Sneakers are definitely some of my must-have shoes! I was a huge fan of the ugly sneaker trend and I am more than happy to wear those models, as well as ‘normal’ sneakers any day.
Definitely both, I don’t think I can decide for just one. There was a time when I was wearing mostly flat shoes (e.g. sneakers), but I have rediscovered my love for heels too and wouldn’t want to - and couldn’t - decide for only one.
1x sneaker, 1x heels, 1x boots - any trip.
All the trips I go to include so many different events and plans that I always pack at least those three kinds of shoes, and wear slippers or sandals on the trip (if it’s in the summer or to a summer destination). There might mostly be more though…
During Fashion Week it’s never only one pair, but mostly a normal Fashion Week day includes 4-6 outfit changes depending on the event, show, appointment, photo shoot etc., which is why I change the shoes as many times too
I like the colorful selection of different styles, and I really like the collection as a whole, too. There are so many different versions available, and all in a fair value for money.
If I had to pick just one it would be sunglasses - whether you actually need them for the sun, or to cover up lack of sleep, or as an accessory; they are always useful.
Absolutely! I love the summer and the Mediterranean Feeling, even in terms of light and summery shoes. My dream is owning a small house somewhere in the south someday, and only wear light summer shoes all year long.
